At Financial Independence Planning, we believe that everyone from your personal advisor to the receptionist should be dedicated to providing high quality service. To achieve that goal, we have a client service team you can count on to respond promptly to your inquiries. As part of our process and philosophy, our client services staff are involved in day-to-day administration but they also help to schedule and prepare for your Quarterly Checkup© and Annual Review®. During business hours, you can always call and get a friendly voice who will help you or find someone who can.
Our Client Services team receive consistent and regular training so that you get a consistent experience with each member of the FIP team.

Senior Client Services Manager

Vito has 25 years of prior experience in corporate sales and promotions. In 2011, Vito made the decision to transition this experience and knowledge to a career in financial planning. Vito’s focus is on retirement and investment planning. He has obtained series 6, 63, 65 securities registrations and Life and Health Insurance License. Vito is a graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in Accounting. Outside of work, Vito is a loyal Philadelphia sports fan.

Nancy Dowdell

Client Services Assistant

Anne (Nancy) Dowdell joined FIP in 2012 to keep busy “between grandchildren duties”. A retired bookkeeper, Nancy handled her part-time assignments so well that the FIP team asked her to assist full-time in the client services department. She is a cheerful and familiar voice to many of our clients. Nancy works mainly in the Lansdale office location. She assists in setting up and preparing Quarterly Check-ups and Annual reviews for our advisors. A graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, Nancy is a registered notary in Montgomery County. Nancy’s other “full-time” position is being an active grandmother to 11 grandchildren!

Patrick Hynes

Associate Client Representative

Patrick joined FIP in 2015 as an associate client representative servicing our retail clients. With 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, he has worked as an Institutional Trader, Tax Accountant, and in venture capital operations. He graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Business. He has successfully passed the Series 63 & 65, and is currently pursuing his CFP® designation. Patrick is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Philadelphia and the Delaware County Estate Planning Council.

Justin Ludy

Senior Client Services Associate

Justin Ludy joined FIP’s client service in 2014. He transitioned from the banking industry where he was an Assistant Branch Manager. Justin is a Client Representative and is responsible for supporting the advisors in preparing the quarterly and annual reports for clients. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University. A native of Boyertown, Justin is an accomplished athlete, particularly lacrosse, and he enjoys the outdoors.

Rand Nead

Compliance Manager

Randolph Nead: Investment Adviser Representative with Voya Financial Advisors has been providing financial services to individuals and small businesses since 1986, focusing on Group and Individual Life, Health, Disability and Long Term Care Insurance, Qualified and Non-Qualified Pension and Deferred Compensation Plans, Tax Preparation, Retirement and Estate Planning. Randy received his Bachelors in Accounting in 1981, CPA in 1983, Masters in Taxation in 1989 and Certified Financial Planner® designation in 1994. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Operations Director and Branch Manager

Tom manages the daily processing, assists on client account services, and coordinates functions associated with the office for Financial Independence Planning, LLC. Tom graduated from Delaware Valley College in 1974 with a BS in Business Administration. Tom is a registered representative with Voya Financial Advisors and has been associated with Financial Independence Planning, LLC since 1992.

Debbie Keller

Office Manager

Deborah (Debbie) Tyson joined FIP in 2012 as executive assistant to Harry Keller. She has been a valuable resource to the entire team in handling office management, calendar and reception duties in addition to being the point person for our CRM. Debbie has 10 years’ experience in Human Resource and Compensation management with Keystone Mercy Health Plan. In addition, Debbie has 10 years’ experience in office management with global multinational firms in the region. When she is not deftly managing the advisors’ schedules and events, Debbie is a marvelous chef and wine connoisseur.
